For construction sites, California requires at least one toilet per 20 workers. That's the floor for compliance, and the first number we show you.
ANSI Z4.3 recommended
The industry comfort standard is one unit per 10 workers. Fewer waits, cleaner units, and a crew that isn't losing time. This is the count we recommend.
Extended-shift adjustment
Shifts past eight hours mean more use per unit each day, so we add about 10% for every hour beyond eight to keep the same level of service.
Event factors
For events we start near one unit per 60 guests, scale with duration, add ~20% when alcohol is served, and split out VIP trailers for premium comfort.
